Evening Cocktail-Smoke In Mirrors

Smokey cocktails have been gaining momentum lately, and rightfully so! They’re a meal in and of themselves. Balance out the fortitude of Tomintoul’s Peaty Tang whisky with rounded, sweet flavors like Jeunesse Moscato and simple syrup.

What you'll need:

2 oz Tomintoul Peaty Tang

1 oz Jeunesse Pink Moscato

1/2 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz simple syrup (available in any supermarket)

Now, you might think moscato & peated whisky are an odd pairing, but not so. While you can make this drink with sweet vermouth instead, the Jeunesse adds a unique level of sweet and a nice pop of color.

Gather your delicious ingredients!

Pour ingredients into shaker filled with ice & shake vigorously. Strain and serve in a champagne saucer or wine glass. Garnish with lemon rind.
