Unlike some "so-called" party drinks, the French75 isn't just a bunch of juice masquerading as a cocktail. It's a genuinely delicious drink that calls for quality champagne, gin, and lemon juice.
Luckily, it's also incredibly easy to make. We bring you our version, the Baron75.
ADK's corn gin and the unique off-dry taste of the Herzog Brut are a perfect pair for the French75.
INGREDIENTS:
3 oz Baron Herzog Brut American Champagne
1 oz ADK Gin
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Time requirement: Speedy
In a shaker filled with ice, add the lemon juice, simple syrup, and gin. Shake vigorously....
...and strain into champagne flute.
Top with champagne, garnish with a raspberry, and voila! This cocktail takes no time at all, and because it balances sweet and tart perfectly, the results will please all sorts of palates.
