Have Your Cake and Drink It Too: Dessert Wines Should Always Be Quality

Dessert wines tend to have an infamous reputation of being overly sweet and syrupy. Today, Jay presents two after-dinner wines that are as delicious as they are balanced.

Herzog Late Harvest Orange Muscat is refreshing, and pairs perfectly with fruit based desserts or flan. Shiloh Fort (like Port wine but made in Israel), is richer, and complements chocolate based desserts. Think cherry fudge cake. A cool feature about this wine (and a lot of Shiloh's wines), is that it features a stopper cork, allowing it to keep for up to weeks on end.

What kind of dessert wine do you prefer? Crisp and acidic, or luscious and full-bodied? Let us know in the comments!
